Ora Sar Shalom was born and raised in Jerusalem, Ora spent twenty years in senior HR roles, including as the VP of HR for an Israeli subsidiary of a global defense tech company. After falling ill, she founded “Advot,” focusing on leadership development with personal and social responsibility while working with leading organizations like Intel and the Prime Minister’s Office. An alumna of Kolot’s Fellows Program (2022), Ora believes that Israel’s main challenge is connecting its diverse society and that women should play a central role. Ora is married to Rami, also a Kolot alumnus, they have four daughters and live in Jerusalem.
