Liraz was born and raised in Teqoa, where she lives with her two sons. Beginning her career in social work, working with individuals struggling with emotional difficulties, she then transitioned to education. After shepherding soldiers in the IDF’s “Nativ” conversion program, Liraz taught literature, Tanakh, and Talmud at the ‘Pelech’ school in Jerusalem. Liraz writes prose, teaches writing, and is currently working on a film script. Her book Eight Minutes of Light [Hebrew] was published by Yediot Books.
