Regev has lectured and facilitated learning in a variety of batei midrash for over a decade, including Beit Prat, amongst others. Currently a doctoral student in Jewish Philosophy at Tel-Aviv University, his research focuses on Zionist writings and their relation to Jewish tradition. Regev’s area of expertise also includes the field of modern Jewish identities, mostly in Israel, as well as Israeli Jewish Renewal organizations. Regev is a member of the third cohort of the Program for Israeli Rabbis, operated jointly by the Shalom Hartman Institute and the Midrasha at Oranim.
